Sensor signal conditioning ic for humidity
Capacitive sensors have a more linear response than the resistive sensors (these have nearly a log response but are high sensitivity at low humidity). Many sensors require some form of excitation for them to operate. IC, capable to interface both single and differential capacitance sensors.
Applications Engineer - Signal ConditioningDealing with high impedance sources and maintaining high impedance inputs without compromising reliability has its own set of challenges. Anyway sorry for my late reply I was also out for a vacation so I was not able to try the code.
Relative Humidity SensorsRelative Humidity sensors are used in DDC control systems for HVAC to measure relative humidity in conditioned spaces and ducts. A compatible process for simultaneous fabrication of sensors and IC was developed, starting from a standard 20 V bipolar process and from an original process for piezoresistive pressure sensors. These monolithic ICs combine fully calibrated humidity and temperature sensing elements, an I2C interface and on-chip signal conditioning into a compact, rugged and reliable package. The developed printing-on-chip humidity sensor achieves a heterogeneous three dimensional sensor system-on-chip architecture.
The major problem with humidity sensing is that themeasurement device must be contact with environment. INFORMATION The HIH-3605 monolithic IC (Integrated Circuit) humidity sensor is designed specifically for high volume OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) users. Humidity sensor works on the principle of relative humidity and gives the output in the form of voltage.
A capacitive polymer sensor chip and a CMOS integrated circuit with EEPROM are integrated into one embedded system in a reflow solderable SMD package.
